The Alabama Professional Education Personnel Evaluation Program (PEPE) is used by Roanoke City Schools to help our staff and teachers to be the best they can be. Every certified personnel from the superintendent down to the individual classroom teacher are evaluated using PEPE. New teacher will be observed for three years before attaining continuing status. Teachers that are on continuing status will be observed every three years. All professional staff have to have a Professional Development plan in place every year that indicated areas of growth.
